Some of you were probably wondering why I didn’t write a single line in the last few months. It’s not just Substack, I took a total break from writing. Why? I needed it.
For bipolar in remission, I play a lot of roles and I get fresh ideas all the time. Every once in a while I come to the point where I have to say STOP. If I don’t, bipolar disorder does. When that happens, I’m screwed. That’s why I pull a brake occasionally and try to get a well-deserved rest.
I quit the role of publisher. I still have my small publishing company, but it’s not publishing anything. I haven’t decided what to do with it yet. Maybe I’ll sell the company or try to sell as many stocked books as possible, then close that chapter and forget about it. I’m in no rush.
I quit publishing so I would get more time and energy for writing. Obviously, it didn’t happen overnight, but I’m here now, typing again, more than ready to entertain you.
Stop This Game is slowly making its way to the top on Amazon. Of course, it’s not at the top of the charts, but soon it will be a book that generated the most revenue for me. If you check the graph below, you can notice the impact it has.
Oh, I made my first grand on Amazon! The first of many, I hope.
